Weather permitting, we’ll begin with a Horse & Hounds escort into Adare Village at 6:30pm. It is a walk, so comfortable shoes and pub attire are essential. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, transport will be provided.

On August 21st, we have arranged two optional group experiences for you to enjoy. You may choose between a guided tour to the Cliffs of Moher or a falconry experience at Adare Manor.

Please return on the same coach you travelled on and be back in plenty of time, as there will not be a head count before departure.
The falconry experience will take place on the grounds of the Manor at 1pm.
Please make your own way to the Manor. Falconry will take place across from the Great Hall, up the hill towards the Padel Club.

Shannon Airport - 30 minute drive to Adare
Cork Airport - 1.5 hour drive to Adare
Dublin Airport - 2 hours and 15 minutes drive to Adare
Once you’re in the town of Adare, there is no need for a car as the town is walkable, and shuttles will be organized around the wedding events.
Our Suggestion: Fly direct to Shannon Airport and then take a 30 minute taxi to Adare. Direct flights to Shannon run from New York City, Chicago, Boston, London, and multiple other locations.
Alternate Suggestion: Fly direct to Dublin and explore Ireland’s capital city before the wedding! There are multiple ways you can get to Adare from Dublin including: rental car, car service and a direct bus. There is also a train from Dublin to Limerick, and once in Limerick, it is a short taxi ride (~20 minutes) to Adare.

We have arranged transport throughout the weekend to make getting to and from each event as easy as possible. Please take note of the departure time for your hotel and be ready a few minutes beforehand.
Guests staying in Airbnbs or other private accommodation should make their way to one of the designated hotels for outbound transport. Return shuttles will include local accommodation where arranged in advance.

17:45 – Coach departs South Court, travelling via Woodlands to the Dunraven.
Adare Manor
18:30 – Coaches depart from Adare Manor for the Dunraven.
The evening will begin at the Dunraven before continuing through Adare village and finishing at Chawke’s.

Our Proposal Story
Mike faked Sammi out by saying they would be going to the Rockettes show in NYC with her family. Sammi grew suspicious when her mom suggested they get manicures that morning, and then her entire family was conveniently "running late" to drinks at the Plaza before the show. He ended up proposing to Sammi in central park where he forgot his planned speech and the words coming out of his mouth didn't make sense, but she said "yes" in front of a crowd of strangers and promptly scolded him for dirtying his pants and creasing his shoe. Mike then threw a surprise engagement party with Family & Friends which was SO much fun.

WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE SERVICE AVAILABLE?
Yes! A shuttle service will operate between Adare Manor and local Adare accommodation on the night of our wedding.
If you are planning on staying in accommodation outside of the village of Adare on the night of the wedding, it is very important to prebook your own transport for the end of the evening. There is no on demand taxi service available in Adare and our shuttle service will only operate between Adare Manor and the local accommodation.
ARE THERE TAXIS AVAILABLE AT ADARE MANOR?
No. If you are staying outside the village of Adare, you will need to prebook a taxi service home as there is no on demand taxi service available in the village of Adare and it can be problematic getting a taxi to come out from Limerick on the night.
WILL THERE BE PARKING OPTIONS AVAILABLE?
Yes, once you arrive at Adare Manor, there will be a steward at the front gate that will direct you to the parking area. Please let him know that you are a guest of Weiner/Magner wedding.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?
Yes, we ask for guests to please wear black-tie attire. For women, longer dresses or cocktail dresses. For men, a tuxedo or a dark suit.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE WEDDING CEREMONY?
While children are welcome at our wedding ceremony, we kindly ask that they do not attend the wedding reception. Babysitting and nanny services can be arranged through our wedding planner or via the hotel directly.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?
We ask that you please turn off your mobile phones & cameras during the ceremony. Don't worry, we have hired a photographer and will have a lot of photos to share with you after the wedding.
WILL THERE BE GLUTEN FREE/DAIRY FREE/VEGETARIAN / VEGAN OPTIONS?
Yes! The chef will be preparing a variety of options to meet everyone's dietary needs. Please make sure you let us know when you RSVP if you have any specific dietary requirements.
ARE THERE ANY HELPFUL IRISH TOURISM WEBSITES?
Yes! Our favourite is ‘The Irish Road Trip‘ as it details day trips and breaks down things to see by county. Other helpful websites include ‘Ireland.com’ and ‘Irishtourism’.
